What is Earth Greening?
Earth Greening is a tree planting service based in Germany. We plant native trees in Brandenburg and provide full transparency with GPS coordinates, photos, and digital certificates for every tree planted.
Why €5 per tree?
We believe in radical transparency. The €5 covers: the sapling (high-quality native species], legal fees and planting spots on protected land, and tools, transport, and manual labor for planting. No hidden costs.
Where are the trees planted?
All our trees are planted in Brandenburg, Germany. We focus on local reforestation to ensure we can strengthen German woodlands from the ground up.
What tree species do you plant?
We plant native German tree species that are suitable for the local climate and soil. These include oak, beech, birch, and other site-appropriate species selected by forestry experts.
When are trees planted?
Tree planting occurs during optimal planting seasons in spring (March-May] and autumn (October-November]. After your order, we will inform you exactly when your trees will be planted.
How are trees cared for?
Every tree receives 5+ years of professional care. This includes protection through fencing, regular monitoring, watering when needed, and replacement of trees that don't survive.
How much CO₂ does a tree absorb?
On average, a mature native tree absorbs approximately 20-25 kg of CO₂ per year. Over its lifetime, a tree can store up to 1 ton of carbon.
What is included in the certificate?
Your digital certificate includes: a unique certificate number, GPS coordinates of your trees, photos of the planting site, number of trees planted, estimated CO₂ offset, and the planting date.
Can I verify my certificate?
Yes! Every certificate has a unique ID that can be verified on our verification page. Simply enter your certificate number to confirm its authenticity.
When will I receive my certificate?
You will receive your digital certificate via email once your trees have been planted and we have the GPS coordinates and photos. This typically happens within 2-4 weeks after planting.
Do you offer corporate packages?
Yes! We offer special packages for companies: Starter (25 trees], Bee (50 trees], Elephant (100 trees], and Whale (250 trees]. Larger packages include branded certificates, blog articles, and physical plaques.
Can I use the certificate for sustainability reports?
Absolutely! Our certificates are specifically designed to be used in CSR and sustainability reports. They include verifiable GPS data, CO₂ calculations, and photo documentation.
Are there bulk discounts?
For very large orders (500+ trees], we offer custom pricing. Please contact us for a tailored quote.
Can I buy a tree as a gift?
Yes! Trees make perfect gifts for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or as memorial gifts. The recipient receives a personalized digital certificate with all the details.
